The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get bad news as he learns that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is his cousin. His brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will give Kyle the bad news and Kyle will grapple with the scoop.

A few months ago, head writer, Josh Griffith teased that a new Abbott would be revealed in 2019. The Y&R viewers almost forgot about that scoop until recently. When it came out that Theo would be sticking around Genoa City for a while, the wheels in the fans’ minds started turning. They pegged Theo as either a Newman or Abbott. Thankfully, he has been revealed as Abbott and not a Newman.

When Kyle discovers that Theo is his cousin, he cannot help but issue his dad a warning about him. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Kyle thinks that Theo could blow up the Abbott family, and questions if he will use this newest scoop to its full advantage.

Jack doesn’ t care. He wants to get to know Theo and welcome him to the family. This makes Kyle extremely nervous about allowing Theo the chance to hurt his family and use their generosity.

Kyle thought that Lola would be in his corner. He felt confident that she would understand why he didn’t want Theo to be a part of his family. Instead, she took Theo’s side and became of his closest friends.
