The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is considered a good guy on the CBS soap. Kyle has gone through his troubled storylines but seems to really be on the straight and narrow. However, good guys are boring, and we could see him go down another dark path. Y&R spoilers reveal that when Kyle first discovered his mother was alive, he was hesitant. Kyle was torn over whether to give Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a chance or to reject her. Even though Kyle has experienced doubts, he really seems to be inching toward Team Diane.
Y&R Spoilers: Diane Jenkins’ Sweet Act
Ever since Diane resurfaced in Genoa City, she has been putting on a sweet act. Diane is saying all the right words and doing all the right things… to certain people.
Diane does like to instigate with her enemies, particularly Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). However, Diane does it in such a way that she doesn’t call attention to herself. Diane keeps her composure and pokes until the other person explodes, making them look like the crazy ones.
Ripping Into Phyllis Summers
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle recently ran into Phyllis. Kyle heard Phyllis trashing Diane, which ignited his rage. Despite Kyle’s uncertainty about Diane, he really wants his mother to have a chance to prove herself.
So, hearing Phyllis rant about Diane didn’t leave Kyle with a good feeling. Instead of calmly explaining her perspective, Phyllis spewed her verbal vomit, which definitely caused Kyle to react. Kyle yelled at Phyllis and threatened her. Kyle made it clear that if Phyllis did anything to sabotage Diane, there would be consequences.
Phyllis warned Kyle that Diane has a way of getting people to do “anything” for her. Phyllis also said that Kyle would end up regretting it.

It seems that the more time Diane spends with Kyle, the more invested he is in the relationship. Diane can manipulate the situation to make it seem as if Phyllis is the enemy and she’s just an innocent victim. Diane is a master manipulator and knows she needs to be slow but methodical in how she grooms Kyle.

It was hilarious watching Phyllis accusing Ashland of “spinning out”, his little panic at, importantly, not being able to see his son was nothing in comparison to watching some of Phyllis’s unattractive, crazy and often very public meltdowns over Diane. Does the scrit writer even watch the show, they certainly don’t remember characters dialog or are all the characters now being purposefully written as a bunch of horrible, self-righteous hypocrites?

They’re ALL hypocrites these days and it’s become unwatchable, at least to me. I’ve deleted all of my recordings and getting ready to watch Friday’s episode, fingers crossed I can get through the whole show without giving up and deleting it which seems likely. Just reading this site’s updates and reviews I’m able to keep up without watching our once beloved characters turn into caricatures of their former selves.
