Having a three-year-old son isn’t something that Kyle ever expected to hear. But his overly competitive cousin, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), recently spilled those soapy beans. The intentional tell included Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), with that information weapon then being loaded for future use.

At least Kyle isn’t burying his head in the sand. He felt compelled to contact his former love interest in order to press her on the paternity issue.
While Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) initially blew Kyle off, she later recanted and came to Genoa City, Wisconsin. But her intention wasn’t to facilitate a relationship with Harrison Locke (no actor known to be cast for this role). Instead, she wanted to tell Kyle the truth and then urge him to walk away from his flesh and blood forever.
Kyle is afraid that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) might retaliate against his loved ones and Jabot in order to exact revenge when he learns the truth. That establishes a dilemma because Kyle won’t allow the newfound connection to his son to be squashed.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Clued In Next
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t known to have any grandchildren through his older son, Keemo Volien Abbott (Philip Moon). So, it appears as though Harrison is Jack’s first grandchild.
No Abbott would allow any family member to remain intentionally disconnected from the family that John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) and Dina Abbott Mergeron (Marla Adams) created. Jack is the head of the Abbott family at this point in Y&R’s history. So, he will offer whatever support Kyle needs as soon as he learns who Harrison is.

Y&R has been hyping Ashland as the show’s newest villain. The hire of daytime veteran Burgi adds enhanced importance to this new character within the quickly developing storyline.
Next up is Kyle’s DNA test battle with Tara. Assuming that she’s telling the truth, Kyle will confirm his paternity and then seemingly need to fight for his rights.
Burgi’s teased debut on the show happens in mid March. So Ashland’s darkness will envelope GC, with Jack and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) then finding themselves on the same side, as they look out for their offspring’s best interests.
