It’s been a few weeks since Kyle and Lola ended their marriage. After a business trip with Summer Newman (Hunter King), Kyle shared a kiss with his ex and realized he was still in love with her.
Kyle and Lola’s marriage had been on the rocks for a while, and upon arriving back in Genoa City, he confessed the truth to his wife. Kyle admitted he never stopped loving Summer, and that he and Lola rushed into something they weren’t ready for.
The two agreed to a divorce, and they’ve been moving on with their lives. Kyle’s quickly rekindled his relationship with Summer. While the two are happy to be together again, their parents have expressed concern over the relationship moving too fast.

As for Lola, she and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) remain, good friends, although Theo would like to take their relationship to the next level.

Lola is dealing with the grief over the loss of her marriage, and Theo’s been a huge support as she cried on his shoulder. While Lola agreed to go on a date with Theo, she’s isn’t looking to jump into another relationship so soon. If she and Theo were to be a couple, Lola wants to take their relationship slow and make sure this is what they both want. She doesn’t want there to be any more mistakes like there was with Kyle.
Speaking of Kyle, his issues with Theo is another reason his marriage to Lola ended. He didn’t like Theo hanging around Lola, and now that the couple’s no longer together, he notices Lola and Theo have been spending more time together.
Kyle has voiced his concerns about Theo being with Lola. Despite Theo’s proclamation that he has real feelings for Lola, Kyle believes this is Theo’s way of getting back at him.

Kyle’s concerns about Lola have sparked speculation on his true feelings for Lola. On the one hand, it appears he’s looking after her like a friend would do. But then, his behavior seems like the type of someone who’s jealous.
Even though Kyle says Summer is the right woman for him, he may not be over Lola. He and Lola shared a connection, and he was planning to build a future with her before everything blew up.
He thought he was unhappy in his marriage to Lola, and he’d find a more meaningful relationship with Summer. However, he’s now going to question if he made the right choice.
Kyle doesn’t want to break Summer’s heart again, but that’s just what may happen if he realizes he made a mistake in divorcing Lola.
