But that proved to be wishful thinking, as his cousin contacted Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and then came to Genoa City, Wisconsin, to deliver damaging dirt.

Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) has been introduced as a new character. The fact that she’s been given a last name and may share a child with Kyle implies that fans will soon see her. There’s no doubt that if Theo’s tell about Kyle being the father of Tara’s child proves true, then Skyle and potentially the Abbott family will be threatened.

Ashland Locke (no actor known to be cast for this role) has a notorious reputation. Kyle’s fear is that he learns about the past connection with Tara, whether Mealor’s character is her son’s father or not.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) should be told what’s happening so that the patriarch of the family and head of Jabot can help defend his son and prepare for a potential business attack. Kyle knows that his father will respond with loyalty and shouldn’t withhold any details about this situation from him.

Y&R Spoilers – Skyle Can Stand Strong

Kyle told Summer Newman (Hunter King) that he was involved with Tara, but didn’t mention the possibility that he’s the father of her child. The hope is that Theo was simply wrong, or is bluffing.

Skyle has been together, off and on, for years. So the longevity of this relationship, along with the depth of feelings both people have for each other isn’t in question.

What’s derailed Summer and Kyle in the past has been an inability to work through drama without splitting apart. Kyle lived Skyle’s history and is likely considering that factor as a reason why he doesn’t want to tell Summer that he might be a dad. He’s hoping to disprove that theory with her never having to know it existed.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tara Locke And Sally Spectra Are Different?

Consider the contrast between Tara and Sally. Tara hasn’t been in contact with Kyle. So if he’s the father, then she’s been protecting him from her husband rather than keeping Kyle from his child.

Sally has been in town for months, foolishly challenged Summer’s credibility and has now sided with Theo to totally disrupt Kyle’s life. That’s terrible, at best.

Maybe Tara’s fondness for Kyle and her evaluation of the Ashland factor will make the character Leiner plays something other than a threat? It’s possible that Tara is an ally and will work with Summer as they protect Kyle. That best-case scenario won’t instantly take hold, but can happen if all goes against Theo and Sally’s intent.
