The Young and the Restless alum, Lexie Stevenson has shared some sad news with her followers on Instagram. In this current pandemic, the actress revealed her father’s battle with COVID-19.

She placed an urgent statement requesting persons to be testing for plasma donation. It was revealed that her father is currently on a ventilator. She wrote, “PLEASE READ: STEPS ON HOW TO DONATE INCLUDES ON SECOND AND 3RD SLIDE. My dad is in ICU on a ventilator with COVID-19. Most people who get put on a ventilator don’t make it off and I have NEVER been this scare din my entire life.

I am begging you to repost this and reach out if you a match!! I’m 21 and not ready to say goodbye to my dad, We have way too much to do together. He is fighting for his life right now so prayers are encouraged and welcome. I am BEGGING you to repost this if you are reading. Please please, please. It will not go unnoticed!!!”

Stevenson outlined in an Instagram post how an individual may help. In her plasma donation request for her dad, she revealed the requirements which state an induvial must be if blood types O positive and O negative. The same must have been tested for COVID-19 and must be 14 days recovered. The email address in the post is specialcollections@redcross.org. A letter must accompany the request.

It must read: My name is (person’s name). I would like to make a direct donation to Richard Stevenson. He is located at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick Maine. I would like to get approved to donate my plasma directly to him for convalescent plasma treatments. Thank you, Donors’ name, Donors Email, Donors number (optional). Another email can be sent to plasma4richard@gmail.com to get through quickly as possible.
