Thankfully Billy was observant. He knew Chelsea was not in a good head space that night he saw her leave the Glam Club.

Billy’s guess that Chelsea went to the rooftop that he considered a sanctuary may have been a lifesaving move. Egan’s character may or may not have made a fateful decision if Billy had not arrived.

Her decision to do so while Billy was present allowed him to rescue her and forge an emotional bond on a level that had not existed before that point in the plot.

Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Sensitive To Betrayal

Lily and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) hurt each other on more than one occasion. Observers who back both characters can not claim that Lily or Cane was solely responsible for the end of their second marriage.

TPTB curiously wrote Goddard’s character out of the show three years ago. That storyline felt odd and did not afford Goddard a sendoff that matched the length of his tenure (2007-2019). Such is the business and various unexplained decisions.

There is no doubt that Lily’s sensitivity toward commitment is tied to her marriages to Cane. Billy is a different person. But time may prove Daniel is a safe harbor for the real and perceived storms Lily sees where Billy is concerned.
