Lily Winters Latest Scans Spell Trouble

Recent spoilers mentioned that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) would take a trip alone and not open up to Cane about that reason. In today’s (10/1/26) episode, Lily discussed her results with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Fans were concerned that Lily’s cancer could return and it seems that it could very well be possible considering the test results she recently received.

Lily told her cousin that her scans showed an enlarged lymph node in her pelvis. Of course, Lily had Ovarian Cancer years ago. Nate advised Lily to keep quiet until she had some more definite answers from more tests.

Of course, Lily listened and chose to lie to Cane about her trip and the reason for it. We all know that secrets do not bode well for any couples on soaps.

Cane Ashby Did Everything To Help Lily Winters Last Time

When Lily had cancer before, Cane was the one who bent over backward to do everything possible to get her through.

Cane was about to be deported back then and hid out to be there for Lily when she needed him. Cane is not going to understand why Lily would not be open and honest with his this time.

Lily was able to have her eggs harvested before she had surgery and that lead to Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) girlfriend carrying her twins as a surrogate.

Lily went through chemotherapy and even shaved her head at one point. Lily was devastated when she lost a good friend and was not able to attend her funeral because of her compromised immune system.

Cane Ashby Is No Saint

Of course, Cane is far from being a saint and he decided to wage a custody battle over the children when Lily decided to give joint custody to Cane and their surrogate.

However, Cane dropped this once he realized just how negatively this battle was affecting Lily. Lily survived to raise her children, mostly without Cane.

Everyone knows that Cane tends to act out when he gets upset and that could be what happens now.

Cane dropped his plans to take over all of the businesses in Genoa City, but if he gets upset over this, he could very well join Phyllis and go through with his plans. Will Lily tell Cane the truth before he gets completely out of hand?
