The Young and the Restless spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) believes that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is directly responsible for him being out of jail this Christmas. He also feels that she’s the reason he’s able to be his authentic self.
As Y&R fans and long suffering supporters of Villy know, Billy convinced himself that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was responsible for his self-worth. That’s one trait of a self-centered individual, with Lily potentially being his next fallout target.

His relationship foibles are too numerous to mention. The gambling addition and over reliance on alcohol weren’t contained initially, but at least Billy’s gotten the help he needs and faced down those challenges.
Billy (Jason Thompson) is often tagged as a good father, but that’s up for debate among critical minds. Has he provided a stable existence for Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri)? One could suggest no and not be defeated in a court argument.
As for Delia Abbott (as played by the recently returned Sophie Pollono), her loss continues to impact Billy’s soul. He wasn’t responsible for her death, but a part of him died that October day in 2013 and that sporadically limits his life through present day.
Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Believes In Second Chances
Lily (Christel Khalil) relates to the effects of tragedy. She went to jail for recklessly endangering the lives of Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and Hevon’s unborn child. Both people died due to the results of injuries suffered in that fated car crash.
The above fueled Lily’s drive to clear Billy’s name in the recently ended storyline. With that ender having happened, she’s now fully bonded to Billy, as BiLily went public this Christmas.
Billy has rediscovered someone who he’s known for many years and dated when both characters were very young. Lily is a true rival to Victoria, which Heinle’s character recognizes.

She’s been tagged as the Ice Princess on many occasions. Victoria is her father’s daughter, but she’s also someone who loves Billy deeply.
Billy and Victoria are soul mates. It’s just that this is one of those periods where they’re not together. So, Victoria is waiting out the game, believing that Billy will return to her when BiLily burns out. But will that happen any time soon?

Sadly it's a very lifelike story. It's that age old tale of a woman who despite seeing a man in her social circle jump from woman to woman and constantly returning to ex, she thinks she will be different and her relationship will be a healthy one. Nevertheless Lilly and Victoria make for interesting and worthy opponents so it should be interesting to watch.
