The Young and the Restless spoilers document that IN Genoa City, Wisconsin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) received potentially encouraging news from his doctor. Whether his damaged hand will be restored to normalcy is yet to be known. But at least there’s hope.

As for romance, Dominic’s character and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) appear to be making progress. They’re developing what’s been revealed as a latent, mutual attraction into a pairing that could eventually lead to marriage. But a lot needs to happen from now until that point in the plot.

The answer to the subject header question seems to be yes. However, the quick turn in the storyline the split Elena (Brytni Sarpy)and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) implies that a reversal can’t be ruled out.

Assuming that Y&R continues along the current path, then Elena and Devon won’t reunite because he’s pursuing Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). With that being true, Nate’s (Sean Dominic)  fall for Elena means that Nelena should have staying power.

Y&RR Spoilers – Maintaining A Vital Career

Hospital based drama has long been a staple of daytime drama. While Genoa City, Wisconsin, has no General Hospital (wink), it does have GC Memorial. Nate and Elena are doctors at that facility, which is an important part of the lives of these characters.

The bond this couple shares extends to the New Hope Clinic, which was the fated site of their first romantic connection. So, it would seem most likely that Nate’s hand will be restored in surgery now, or in the relatively near future.

The linked professions that Nate and Elena share have and can continue to serve as a base for future storylines. But if, for some reason, the writing staff has other ideas, then Nate would need to alter his role in the medical industry.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Rosales Must Leave Limbo

As Y&R fans are seeing, Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) current purpose is to serve as Elena’s sounding board and as Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) wedding assistant. Calle’s character was a central part of one of the major storylines for more then a year until Kola unexpectedly collapsed.

There’s no plausible rebound possibility with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) heading toward the end of this calendar year. Kola come back someday, but in the meantime Lola deserves another romantic option.

One of GC’s most eligible ladies has advanced from owning a food truck to prominent cuisine roles at Society and the Grand Phoenix Hotel. But soaps are about far more than work. So, here’s hoping that a very likable character’s life expands in 2021.
