Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) loves her husband on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) loves Lola. But sometimes deep feelings aren’t enough if other people are in the middle. And yes, that means two other characters in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

It was chilling to hear Kyle blurt out that Summer Newman (Hunter King) was stuck in his head. He let that slip while talking about Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) feelings for Lola.

Differences that ‘Kola’ have experienced since they first started to get to know each other were seemingly overcome. That’s why current issues seemed resolvable. But Kyle withheld a modest indiscretion from Lola and even though he’s since voluntarily admitted what happened, his wife sensed that something just wasn’t right.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Skyle’s Power Has Endured

It seemed as though Theo was going to be the biggest threat to ‘Kola’. He resents Kyle because of perceived class differences, which actually represent masked personal issues. And, Johnson’s character has allowed his crush on Lola to expand.

‘Skyle’, which seemed so last decade, could actually be ready to rebound if circumstances play out. Summer never stopped loving Kyle but had convinced herself to stay single and withhold her gaze. Now, she can’t deny her feelings after the Jabot trip to San Francisco, California.

Kyle did push her away after she kissed him. But his subsequent withhold of information from Lola was telling. As a result, ‘Kola’ is in danger of at least splitting in the near future.

Y&R Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Has Charm

One of the reasons why Kyle has been so worried about Theo’s potential to negatively impact his marriage involves past experience. Mealor’s character knows just how charismatic Theo was when they were surface pals in the Big Apple.

Charm is one of Theo’s personality points, with vengeful thoughts being another. Kyle and Theo were clashing before news of the link to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) came to light. That incredible reveal increased Theo’s power potential by at least ten-fold.

Along with the above, Lola has grown fond of Theo, as Kyle feared. He saw Johnson’s character work his magic on various ladies in New York and knows that when motivated Lola could be swept away eventually.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Undermining Himself

Kyle realizes that he’s often not able to control himself when Theo is around, as others, including his dad, Jack Abbott (Peter Bregman), have recognized. But in doing so, Kyle has been consistently undermining himself.

Unless some dynamic changes, Lola appears likely to remain within Theo’s range and therefore be vulnerable to the aim he has for her. Meanwhile, Summer doesn’t intend to interfere, but also knows that her feelings for Kyle never dissipated.
