Lucy wanted to stay in Genoa City to support Daniel and to find the outcome of the murder investigation. However, Daniel felt it was best if Lucy was away from all the drama.

Even though Sharon didn’t want Faith to communicate with Lucy, she did it anyway. Faith wanted Lucy to know she was thinking of her after Heather’s murder. Faith was also kind enough to console Lucy when running into her at the coffee house.

So, it’s only natural to assume that Faith might be texting with Lucy all this time. Faith might not be giving Lucy all the updates. However, after Sharon’s confession, Faith might feel compelled to reach out to Lucy.

Lucy has already shown to be quite impulsive, just like her grandmother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Once Lucy learns about Sharon’s confession and Phyllis’ crash, she could do something impulsive.

I could see Lucy running away, even stealing a car, and driving to Genoa City to confront Sharon. It could be quite dangerous, but it could also give the talented young actress some more screen time.
