The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Maria DiDomenico Cast As Alyssa Montalvo – Brings Mystery To Genoa City

Besides the new casting, this childhood friend of Adam could be bringing some mysteries to The Young and the Restless.

According to Y&R spoilers, Adam is set to run into a childhood friend during the week of March 16-20. He will meet up with Alyssa Montalvo (played by Maria DiDomenico) while on a trip to Kansas with Chelsea and Connor.

Maria DiDomenico joins the Y&R cast

Soaps in Depth report that Maria DiDomenico will join the cast as Adam’s old school friend, Alyssa Montalvo. DiDomenico will star on a recurring basis and could be around for a while.

According to spoilers, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be taking a fun trip to Kansas with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam and Chelsea are making plans to get married on Hope Wilson’s (Beth Toussaint) farm and the trio head there to check out the property. The whole family is excited and waiting for news.

Unfortunately, when they arrive at the property, they find it in a sad, rundown state. Adam is upset to see the farm hasn’t been cared for. The farm has a sentimental value to the whole family. However, they now have to decide whether to fix the farm up or find a different location. The most important thing at this stage is finding a place for Chelsea and Adam to celebrate their love and commitment.

Along the way, Adam bumps into Alyssa Montalvo. They haven’t seen each other since they were kids and have lots to catch up on. Rumors are that she could open up a mystery in Adam’s life, or maybe help with the wedding. Fans will have to wait and see.

In the meantime, Adam has trouble getting Alyssa out of his mind. He ends up grilling Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) back in Genoa City about Alyssa and the past following the Kansas trip.

How will Chelsea react to Alyssa?

One worrying aspect of the meeting between Adam and Alyssa is that this could upset Chelsea. It’s possible Alyssa still has a thing about Adam and this could cause problems. Whatever happens, having a new cast member will keep things exciting as time goes by. More news about Alyssa and her connection to Adam will surely eventually come out.
