The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) will soon be at her wit’s end. She’ll start working with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to refine her musical talents, so that Tessa can have a shot at a recording contract with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) record label. Devon took a big risk by giving Tessa another shot, and she’s finally going to get to realize her musical dreams.

Ana and Tessa will have a lot of work to do, as it takes a lot of work and grooming in order to be a successful recording artist. As Y&R viewers know, Ana went through a lot of strain with Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) who wasn’t exactly serious and hardworking when it came to his musical career. It really exasperated Ana.

Well, according to Y&R spoilers, Ana will experience some friction while working with Tessa as well, but the friction won’t come from Tessa herself. Rather, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will cause some problems for her girlfriend’s blossoming career, but it doesn’t look like it will be intentional or in any way malicious

Rather, Mariah will be a little too enthusiastic about Tessa’s musical career. Mariah feels like she’s an important part of Tessa’s musical journey. As Y&R viewers know, she recently helped Tessa find her voice and her music writing skills again, and she also was the one who convinced Devon to let Tessa work with his label.

It looks like Mariah will have some difficulty with handing off Tessa to Ana, and Y&R spoilers say that Mariah’s high level involvement in Tessa’s singing career will be too much for Ana. It looks like Ana will start to get annoyed with Mariah’s constant butting-in and her opinions about what Tessa should and should not be doing.

Look for some serious conflict between Ana and Mariah going forward, as they clash about the direction for Tessa’s career. Something will have to give, and it looks like it will need to be Mariah who backs off, given that she’s not the one with the musical expertise. And of course Tessa will be stuck in the middle of the conflict.

It will be interesting to see how this conflict works itself out. Both Mariah and Ana have strong personalities, and so it might take a major confrontation to get Mariah to back off. Do you think Mariah and Ana will be able to work things out?
