Poor Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is convinced she wants to be a mother and be one as soon as possible. Being pregnant with Bowie Dominic and bringing him into the world solidified that fact for her and she thinks Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is completely on board because why wouldn’t she be? She was so supportive of Mariah’s decision to carry a baby for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and thought she was adorable when pregnant.

One problem is, Mariah has deemed Tessa the one to carry their baby because A-she wants Tessa to know the joys of pregnancy and B-she doesn’t want to wait long enough for her body to just recover from what it’s been through. After all, she just gave birth a few short weeks ago and getting pregnant again so soon wouldn’t be healthy.

Tessa not only doesn’t want a baby — she doesn’t want to be pregnant with one either and tells this to Sharon (Sharon Case). Mariah’s mom tells Tessa she has to be honest with Mariah so that her daughter doesn’t get her hopes up and Tessa knows she is right but she still doesn’t know how she’s going to do it.

Y&R Spoilers – Will Mariah Copeland Hear What Tessa Porter Has To Say?

When Tessa returns to their room at the Grand Phoenix, all Mariah can talk about is babies and their alleged plans to have one and Tessa is at a loss. How can she break Mariah’s heart like that? She knows she has to do it sooner rather than later but Mariah seems to not understand what she is saying.
