The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Meet Zuleyka Silver, Actress Playing Audra Charles

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Zuleyka Silver will be debuting her character Audra Charles this month on September 23rd, but who in the world is she and what will she be doing in Genoa City?

Silver sat down to speak with Soap Opera Digest about her new role and character and what is going to be going down around her part. Audra is a high-powered executive who comes to town to meet with one of the town’s business icons. Her role is contracted, which means we will probably be seeing quite a bit of her. Though, we still don’t know who she is going to be meeting with and why!

While speaking to the magazine, Silver explained that she is thrilled at the new role, “I like playing strong women and Audra’s definitely a strong woman. I’m so grateful to the writers for not putting a Latina actress in a box because we can play lawyers, doctors, CEOs and other professionals.”

She immediately took a liking to Y&R during the process saying, “It was just such a different test than what I’m used to. The actors who were reading with us made us feel so comfortable and were just having fun, which I think really helped ease my nerves. This was such a cool group of people, so I was able to go in there and rehearsed, which is something you don’t really get to do much prior to the producers getting there, so that was really nice.”

Y&R Spoilers – What We Think

Audra Charles could be coming to town to do some business with Jabot. With everything that has been going on with them, plus the addition of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), they could be looking to extend some of their business. Audra coming to Genoa City could mean meeting with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and perhaps creating a new love interest For Adam who has been busy worrying about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

I suspect there will be some sparks flying when Audra comes to town, but who’s an eye will she capture? She will arrive in town on September 23.
