The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal some big changes for Chelsea Lawson Newman now that actress Melissa Claire Egan has announced she is going to give birth to a son this summer.
Egan had undergone fertility treatments and endured two miscarriages before this pregnancy, while Chelsea lingered in a wheelchair for months as a result of a stroke. During that time, she became convinced that Adam (Mark Grossman) was cheating on her with Sharon (Sharon Case) and as she slowly recovered, she chose to keep it a secret. After all, if Adam thinks she can’t speak or move, Chelsea could accomplish dastardly things.

Now, Chelsea is nearly completely over the edge. She convinced BFF Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to become her partner in crime, but Chloe did not realize that she was really setting up Adam for murder. When their shenanigans nearly resulted in Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) death, Chloe wanted out, with Chelsea assuring her she won’t go to jail. The last thing Chloe wants is to never see her children again.
What Chelsea doesn’t realize is that Adam saw her dancing around the penthouse and then smiling to herself when she placed herself back in her wheelchair perch. Now he is conning her and letting her think he believes she is still paralyzed and mute. Except Adam now knows she is the one who hacked into his phone and left the poison around Sharon’s house and he’s determined to prove it.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea’s Last Con
Has Chelsea played her last con? Did she push things too far since she’s gotten away with almost every con in her life so far? If Adam and Sharon are able to prove what she’s been up to, that can send Chelsea right over the edge. She will then face the risk of losing Connor (Judah Mackey) forever and that’s something Chelsea just won’t stand for.
Will she go too far and really kill someone next time? Will she lose her mind and have to be placed in a psychiatric facility, something Chloe is all too familiar with thanks to her revenge attempts on Adam. Or will she just end up behind bars?
Melissa Claire Egan will be off the soap for some time after she has her baby and Chelsea going nuts or going to prison, that’s an easy way to write her off the show, while also leaving the door wide open for her return.

Chelsa should go to jail, for near killing Rey. Chloe needs to tell what she knows and keep her kids. Sharon go back to Faith and help Nick with her. With Phyllis anything could happen Make Summer lose her job and Sally to, after Summer said to let it go. Phyllis warns Nick could be about Sharon or Chelsa, she knows how he feels about these 2. Please NO Chelsa for him. Let her go back to Adam. NO ADAM for SHARON enough is enough. Let Sharon and Nick raise Faith. Rey is pushing Sharon always on her back. Needs to back off. She needs to be saved by Nick.
Faith is leaving. She has a new gig on tv series. They will probably ship her off to rehab place
The character of Faith is being replaced. Faith isn’t going anywhere permanently. The actress currently playing Faith is off to big time.
I hope Nick tells Rey that Adam has called Sharon. Adam needs to get Victor to help him. not Sharon. Mynfriend that also watches the show loves Adam and Sharon, I can't see it.. miminjt
Shame Chelsea's leaving, wish she would take out Phyllis and Lauren, those loud mouthed witches deserve it. The show would be better without them.
