The Young and the Restless spoilers show that as they work together to bring down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for all the terrible things she has done to each of them in the past and to stop her from doing anything else harmful to them or the people they care about in the future, the characters of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) find themselves an unlikely trio.

In a brand-new virtual interview that is now available on YouTube’s Michael Fairman Channel, Michael Fairman spoke with Melody, Eileen, and Michelle to start off Y&R’s 50th anniversary season.

Melody, Eileen, and Michelle discuss a variety of topics, including the 50th anniversary of the top-rated daytime drama, their first encounters on set, who they would like to return for the series’ golden anniversary celebration, their excitement over Michael Graziadei’s (Danny Romalotti) impending comeback, and much more. The interview also includes some entertaining “blast from the past” clips from the past.

The actresses comment on a variety of topics during the interview, including how much fun it is for them to work with the catty Genoa City trio on-screen, how the trio plans to bring down Diane, and the addition of Trevor St. John (ex-OLTL) to the cast as the new Tucker McCall.

Y & R Spoilers – Should Nikki Newman And Phyllis Summers Give Up?

While these three ladies are going to continue on with their plan, it seems like it might be heading for nothing. Diane has been doing everything she can to have a better life, and Nikki and Diane seem like high school girls trying to spread rumors around about Diane so that she’ll leave town and get out of their lives.

However, there seem to be a lot of viewers who are sick of Nikki and Phyllis and wish they would give it a rest. Comments like, “I think Phyllis and Nikki have moved on, and don’t want Jack for themselves, but don’t want anyone else to have him.”, “I can’t believe anyone thinks senior citizen women would act like this in 2022 – or any year, for that matter.” and “I noticed that they don’t like Diane, especially Phyllis and Nikki – both liked Jack, not that she wants him back,” were what popped up in the comments.
