The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Michael Feels Guilty As Victor’s Empire Crumbles

The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will play a huge part in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) huge loss now that he has gone after Jabot.

Michael has tried to convince Victor to back off and leave Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the other Abbotts alone. Michael may find himself in the perfect position to steal the AI program and take it away from Victor.

Victor Newman Demands Michael Baldwin’s Loyalty

Victor recently gifted Michael a Roman coin and told him how it meant that he was completely loyal to him. Michael tried to convince Victor that he could trust him and apologized for there being any doubt.

However, Michael wants Victor’s approval and at that point, he honestly seemed like he might back out of helping the Abbotts.

Michael knows that his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) does not want him doing Victor’s dirty work. Lauren wants Michael to get away from Victor’s business and not she doesn’t believe Victor is being fair to the Abbott’s.

Michael is readily going to be torn between being Victor’s right hand man and helping Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Major Newman Drama Coming

In an interview with TV Insider, Y&R Head Writer and Executive Producer Josh Griffith reveals some major Newman drama in 2026.

“We’ll play the continued push/pull between Michael and Lauren as Michael continues to be sucked back into Victor’s world as things go really horribly wrong for the Newmans and how that affects his relationship with Lauren,” Griffith said.

There could be a few reasons for things to go wrong for the Newman’s. Matt Clark has already confessed to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he had been right all along.

Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (last played by Rainn and River Ware) is also set to be kidnapped as well. There is the AI program as well that could be used to attack them.

Michael Baldwin Could Back Out

Michael could change his mind about trying to steal the AI program. However, Michael could also mention to Diane where the program is being stored.

If this information gets back to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she could easily steal the program and turn it against Victor. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) still wants revenge so he could join forces with Phyllis to make this happen.

Victor could finally face a downfall along with the rest of the Newman’s. Of course, Victor will retaliate once he realizes what has happened to Newman Enterprises.

Michael is going to find himself caught in the middle. Spoilers say that bad news is coming for the Newmans very soon. Hang is there to see what happens.
