The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Michael Graziadei is bringing back the beloved legacy character Daniel Romalotti to Genoa City, Wisconsin. According to SOD, Daniel will be back in town giving fans the rare chance to see this amazing actor in action. Daniel is the son of town troublemaker Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and he no doubt will have a thing or two to say to his mom who currently is stirring a cauldron with Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) name on it.

There is no word on when the character will appear nor scoop about what he will be up to. Perhaps he is back for Skyle’s wedding? His sister Summer (Allison Lanier) is remarrying Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and this would be the perfect reason for him to return to town.

Y&R spoilers: What Will Daniel Romalotti Say?

Phyllis lied to Daniel, telling him he was the son of Danny Romalotti. Father and son left for Europe upon learning of Red’s lie and a teenage Daniel came back to GC in 2003.

Daniel became friends with troubled Chipmunk Bandit Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) who has since kinda sorta gone to the right side of the law. These two got in plenty of trouble before Daniel fell in love with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The young pair had their own share of drama including a Las Vegas elopement.

Later Daniel moved in with Kevin and another series of misadventures ensued. Along the way Daniel made peace with both his mother and father and was even involved at one point with The Naked Heiress Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Long story short, Daniel had a child who went through a very soapy life before she learned to walk! As a result Phyllis fought for custody of the little girl, Lucy, and eventually Daniel took his daughter offscreen where he has been raising her. This June Phyllis and Daniel had a catch up phone call which in hindsight signaled the character’s return to town.
