The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal Mishael Morgan shared an update for her recovery after undergoing emergency surgery to save her vision.

The actress shared a close-up selfie of her bare face on Instagram and wrote in her post, “I’m still here, still healing, still growing, and always learning.”

It was just last month when the actress had undergone the emergency surgery. She shared a couple of pictures of her bandaged face on her Insta account but the actress did not disclose the reason behind it. However, she admitted it has something to do with correcting a detached retina and that the incident did not happen on Y&R’s set.

The Young And The Restless News – Struggles As Merciful Lesson

The actress remains to have a positive outlook in life even with the recent incident. In the same post she talked about seeing challenges as a way to reevaluate everything.

The post continues: “Although my vision is still blurred, my lessons are becoming clearer. I find it interesting that every time I make decisions in my life I am met with challenges that cause me to reevaluate everything, but ultimately leads me to the same conclusion but with more clarity. What was once a timid idea becomes a strong conviction.”

The star also mentioned an incident that changed her life: “My broken neck at 19 gave me the strength to leave law school behind and follow my dream.”

Y&R Spoilers – God Behind The Scenes

The Y&R star remained open and talked about the ways of God in her life. She preached on God allowing struggles to happen not as a punishment but as a merciful lesson.

The star continued: “I have always seen struggles and pain that God brings into my life as a humbling, merciful lesson; An experience that I am honored to have been given and grateful that it’s never more than you can handle. He’s not done with you, but he needs you to dig deeper, know your strength, get bolder, and start living the life he needs you to live. It’s not bad karma, it’s not because you’re a bad person, it’s because he wants you to know your power and eventually see your wings.”

The actress firstly appeared as Hilary Curtis in June 2013 but her character ended tragically in the long-running TV Series. Mishael returned on the same soap in 2019 as new character Amanda Sinclair as an attorney representing Chance Chancellor.

Since the surgery the actress has been out of commission and has not revealed when will she return on screen.
