Adam Newman Supports His Brother’s Habit

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 27, suggest that Adam will give Nick the green light to pop some pills.

Sounds odd, considering no one likes the idea of Nick being an addict; however, they are on a rescue mission to save Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

The last thing Adam needs is to worry about Nick crashing out because of withdrawal symptoms.

The two men will be close to the warehouse during Monday’s show, and on the cusp of saving Noah and Sharon, which is when things go very wrong.

Nick Newman’s Overdose

The good news is, Nick and Adam will locate Noah and Sharon, and break into the warehouse to save them.

The bad news? Just as all this goes down, Nick will collapse and start shaking on the floor of the warehouse!

As per the Y&R weekly preview, it looks as if Nick will overdose, but will he survive this? Poor Noah and Sharon will be chained up to the wall and won’t be able to help Nick in his time of need, so it’s unclear if Nick will get to a hospital in time.

With that said, Matt did mention during the Friday, April 24 episode that the warehouse was stocked with solid Wi-Fi and cell service, so here’s hoping that Adam can call 9-1-1 and the paramedics get there in time.

They are far out of the Las Vegas area, so Nick could be in trouble.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for April 27 imply that Matt will witness Nick’s OD firsthand, as he’ll be watching footage from his phone in his car.

Matt ensured to install surveillance cameras in the warehouse – smart, villainous move – so while he’ll be disappointed that Noah and Sharon were found, he’ll bask in the glory of watching Nick OD in front of his son, brother, and the mother of his children.

In fact, it sounds like Matt purposely planted tainted drugs in the stash he left in the storage room where he was holding Nick.

Will Nick be okay? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
