‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 8: Matt’s Downfall, Cane’s New Alliance, Adam Warned

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Monday, December 8, 2025! In the next episode, fans can expect Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to punish Matt Clark, aka Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth).

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) makes a new alliance. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) warns Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Matt Clark’s Frantic Chase

Let’s start off with Matt, who started chasing Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Even though Sienna wanted to keep driving, Noah told her to pull into a crowded park.

Noah was acting on Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) guidance, and it saved them. At least, for the time being.

Victor Newman Strikes Back

What Matt wasn’t aware of is that Victor is in possession of an AI program that can steal everything from him. Victor used the program to force Matt to back off from Noah and Sienna.

It seems for right now, Noah and Sienna are safe. However, it’s not over for Matt, not yet. The man will likely lay low until Noah and Sienna’s guards are down, then strike back.

We also know from a preview clip that Nick, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Noah try to convince Sienna to come to Genoa City. Sienna isn’t sure it’s safe since Matt is MIA.

However, Noah encourages her to come, he will make sure that Matt can’t get her there. That seems like a really big promise with a lot of unknown variables, though. Noah shouldn’t make promises that he isn’t sure he can keep.

Cane Ashby’s New Alliance

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the next episode will also feature Cane making a new alliance. The man literally just told Phyllis that he chooses her, and wants to build a future with her at his side.

However, a preview clip shows Cane inviting Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to go to the Abbott Communications launch party with him. Is this the new alliance that Cane makes?

Phyllis Summers vs Adam Newman

As for Phyllis, she gives Adam a fierce warning. However, Adam isn’t going to be scared off by someone like Phyllis. Of course, Phyllis is the one who sold Victor the AI program, something she keeps denying to Cane.

So, what does the future hold for Phyllis? Will she get what she wants in the end, or could she have a bumpy downfall?
