Y&R spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) figured out a way to solve her problem with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor kept insisting that Victoria take some time off to heal, both physically and emotionally. However, there was no way that Victoria was going to allow Adam to take the reins.
Victoria decided to promote Nikki to co-CEO of the company. Adam was furious but Victor supported the business decision.
In Monday’s episode, expect Nikki to face some backlash. Nikki’s credibility will be questioned. This could be Adam, who is seeking revenge for being pushed aside. However, a photo for next week shows Nikki slapping Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). So, it might be Diane that questions if Nikki is really competent to run Victor’s legacy.

As for Victor, he will be busy dealing with both Ashland and Diane. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) tells Victor that he has a solution to the problem. Fans recall how torn up Ashland was about being banned from Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) life. It’s possible that Victor will use Harrison to force Ashland’s hand.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 23 reveal that Summer and Chelsea will talk business. They are both in the same field, so they could just be discussing the fashion world. However, Summer wants Jabot to buy Marquetti. If the deal goes through, it would bring Summer back to Genoa City full-time.
Summer might hint that there could be changes coming for Fenmore’s. So, Chelsea might worry about the future of her career.

Fans can also expect Ashland to meet Diane. Ashland doesn’t need an introduction as he knows of her already. However, Ashland brings up Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to Diane. When Diane confirms that Kyle is her son, he makes a proposition. It sounds as if Diane and Ashland might join forces, so expect a lot of drama in the upcoming week!

I think Ashland and Diane will end up in a relationship. Then the real drama can start.
I am not interested in Ester's love life; already zapped that part. I wanted Vicki to run away with Ashland.
I could sleep through all the plotlines mentioned in this post and not feel that I missed anything. How about Ashland kidnaps Harrison and Chance leads the search?
I think Diane and Ashland could be a formidable dirty duo. Both these seasoned actors seem to be able bring the drama and make for a very attractive dastardly GC power couple. I don't think Nikki or Victoria would realistically have a hope in hell against these two and Victor doesn't seem to have a grip on things these days. Victoria nearly lost the company but he indulgently let her stay in charge whilst Adam got treated like he was the one who screwed up, yep Victors losing his touch being written like such a fool.
