The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Monday, November 2: Theo Crashes Abbott’s Reception For Dina – Kyle Freaks & Summer Tries To Comfort Him

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 2, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will see Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at Crimson Lights ahead of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) funeral service. Lola and Kyle will be talking when Summer Newman (Hunter King) arrives and gets miffed to see Kyle and Lola together.

Summer and Lola will argue, and eventually, Lola will leave after cautioning Summer not to make the day all about her. Summer and Kyle will then talk a bit about their breakup, and then they’ll decide that this day is about Dina and they should support each other through the day.

Next on Y&R, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will hang back when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) are ready to head to the church for Dina’s service. Jack will want a moment by himself, and after Ashley and Tracey leave, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will arrive at the mansion. Theo will ask if he’s welcome at Dina’s service, and Jack will say that Theo is family and that he is of course invited.

Theo will mention Kyle, and Jack will say that Kyle doesn’t make the rules for the family. Theo will assure Jack that he’ll be on his best behavior today and won’t start anything with Kyle. Eventually, Theo will ask about the “teardrop of love” necklace, and Jack will show it to him. Theo will make it clear that he knows that everyone but him got a piece of the necklace, and Jack will be apologetic.

Traci Abbott & Ashley Abbott Reminisce About Dina Mergeron

Next on Y&R, Traci and Ashley will enjoy some time in Chancellor Park as they discuss Dina and her impact on them. Traci and Ashley will decide that they’re more like John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) than Dina, and they’ll talk about how their mother left the family and what they learned from it. Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will show up, and he’ll talk with Ashley privately, with Ashley gushing about how important Chance is to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Theo Vanderway Crashes The Abbott Reception For Dina Mergeron

Next on Y&R, Jack, Abby, Traci, Ashley, Kyle, and Summer will gather at Society for the reception following the funeral. Theo will look in the window and walk away, as the family talks about how all of Dina’s wishes were honored during the service. Jack will then make a passionate and emotional speech about his mom, and everyone will toast to Dina formally.

In the kitchen, Theo will walk through as Lola’s preparing some food, on his way to make a surprise and grand entrance into the party. Lola will caution him, but he’ll nevertheless walk right into the dining room and say, “Good Afternoon, Abbotts!” The family will be a bit taken aback at first, then Traci will insist that they’re all happy that Theo is there with them. However, Kyle and Summer will each look unnerved.

Theo Vanderway Gets The Abbotts In A Celebratory Mood

Theo will insist that this should be a party – after all, Dina loved a good party on her day. Theo will get the drinks going, and he’ll turn on some music that Dina enjoyed back in the day. Kyle will look horrified by the whole thing, but Jack will think that this is a wonderful idea and they’ll all start dancing and enjoying themselves, much to Kyle’s dismay.

Kyle will get fed up and leave, and Summer will chase after him, eventually catching up with him in Chancellor Park. Kyle will think that he’s being pushed out of the Abbott family, and Summer will think that’s ridiculous. Summer will do her best to tell Kyle that she’s 100% sure that his family can see right through what Theo is trying to do.

But back over at Society, everyone will be thoroughly enjoying themselves, and they’ll give Theo all the credit. Stories about Dina will fly, and there will be great laughter and happiness among the family. Finally, on Monday’s new episode of Y&R, Theo will throw back a shot and look satisfied with himself.
