When Nick arrives home, Chelsea tells him about Adam leaving town and that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is upset. Nick remarks that Adam’s running because he refuses to face the repercussions of what he’s done. Chelsea talks about how heartbroken Connor is, then when she brings up the possibility of Adam changing his ways, Nick scoffs at the idea. She then reminds Nick how everyone’s forgiven Victor for the terrible stuff he’s done.
Nick argues there’s no way Adam can be redeemed, but Chelsea thinks he can and points out that he’s overcome with grief. Nick says that’s not it and when Chelsea asks what he means by that, Nick tells her that Victor is alive. Nick goes on to explain the plan to fake Victor’s death to get Adam to confess to tampering with the medication. An angry Chelsea unleashes her fury on Nick. She’s upset that he didn’t tell her the truth and says that because of his twisted plan, her son Connor is suffering.

Victor and Adam are at the ranch, and Victor asks how did Adam find out his was alive. Adam says none of that matters because he’s leaving town. Victor asks if Adam switched the medication in hopes of killing him, then says he hoped his son would have some shred of humanity left in him. Adam talks about Nick and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) knowing Victor was alive and wondered if they were waiting for Adam to screw up so they could send him to prison.
Father and son talk about their difficult relationship, and Victor bringing him back to Genoa City. Adam says the reason he switched the medications is because Victor hired someone to run him down. Victor says he wasn’t responsible, but Adam doesn’t believe him. Victor says he doesn’t hate Adam, then recalls the time Adam saved Victor’s life by taking a bullet for him. Adam feels that this time he’s gone too far and he can’t come back from this. Victor says there is a way back and begs his son to stay in town. Adam refuses and says it’s too late. Victor says he forgives Adam.

He also says Adam can become a better man and work his way into becoming a member of the family. Adam says no, he acts on his worse impulses, then confesses to switching the pills. He says when he thought he’d killed Victor, he looked in the mirror and saw himself for who he really was. When Victor asks about Connor, Adam replies that he doesn’t deserve him. Victor tells Adam not to give up on his son.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Believes In Redemption
Victor reminds Adam that he’s been in similar situations before and there’s always a chance at redemption. Adam says he needs to escape this place and this life, he tells Victor there’s nothing else to say. He says he did everything he could to bring Adam home and help him.
A teary-eyed Adam says he could never be the person Victor wanted him to be. Adam says he didn’t care about Victor’s love, all he wants was his father’s respect. The two men break down as Adam apologizes. The scene then cuts to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) who comes in to find Victor alone in the living room, and Victor imagined the conversation with Adam.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is at Crimson Lights when Cane comes in. She updates him about the challenge to Katherine’s will and how she can’t get in touch with Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols). Jill says a meeting is taking place later at Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse and says this is an insult to Katherine’s legacy.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cane Ashby Offers To Support Jill Abbott
The two talk about work and their personal lives. Jill then brings up Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) and questions if she’s really working for Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) or someone else. As Jill’s leaving for the meeting, Cane offers to come along to show his support.
At the penthouse, Devon is getting ready for the meeting. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) can’t be there because she has to work. Devon says that Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) is his lawyer and is confident she can handle Amanda. Elena again brings up how she thinks Amanda and the will is a scam.
Amanda is at Society when she notices Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) staring at her. She tells him she’s not a ghost and asks why he’s bothering her. Nate tells Amanda he’s messing with his family, then brings up her resemblance to Hilary and how someone knew she looked just like Devon’s deceased wife.
Amanda says she was hired by the client due to her credentials, then remarks about how a highly-praised doctor like Nate couldn’t save Victor Newman. After her conversation with Nate, Amanda leaves to make a phone call to an anonymous person. She says she’s received the papers and she doesn’t like surprises. Later Nate meets Elena at Crimson Lights and talks about his meeting with Amanda. They talk about how the arrival of Amanda has rattled Devon, and they hope after today it’ll be all over with.

Back at the penthouse, Brittany tries to calm a nervous Devon. He comments this brings back memories of his father Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will reading. Amanda arrives and soon she and Brittany begin arguing. Then Jill and Cane arrive, both are shocked at Amanda’s resemblance to Hilary.
Jill then breaks out of her trance and informs Amanda that this was Katherine’s wishes, and she knows exactly what Katherine would think about this situation. Amanda says Chance has sent over the real will and Brittany wants to know how they can take this seriously.
Amanda says the documents will be authenticated as Devon presses her to read the will. Amanda reads the new papers that states the $2 billion, 475 million dollars of Katherine’s estate will now be awarded to Cane Ashby.
