The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Murder Mystery Ahead, Summer Caught In The Middle-Who Killed Jeremy Stark?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease with a murder mystery ahead and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) could be caught in the middle! Summer finds out her mother is alive, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tells her about her self-defense scissors murder of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) but swears her to secrecy.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Could Other Loved Ones Be Blamed?

Now that Stark’s body has been found, basically anyone with a revenge motive for Phyllis’ murder against him could be blamed. For instance, Daniel Romalotti, (Michael Graziadei) Summer’s brother, made threats against Stark publicly at Phyllis’ memorial service-and may not have an alibi for the night Stark was killed. But Phyllis wants to keep her survival a secret and Summer can’t even tell her brother what happened-and Daniel’s famous for having a short fuse!

Stark’s body is being found at least two to three days after he was killed, so forensic estimates based on decomposition will be used for a timeframe of his death. Not just Daniel, but others at Phyllis’ memorial vowed to make Stark pay for her murder and framing of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters); they’ll be persons of interest in his murder!

Y & R Spoilers – Jack Abbott At The Top Of The List?

Summer’s in an awkward position having to keep this truth of Phyllis’, because literally everyone she knows and is close to is a potential suspect. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is at the top of the list, because obviously Diane was already in jail for Phyllis’ murder. Jack has been heard publicly making threats against Stark as well, and if Diane wasn’t in jail she’d be even higher on the list than him.

Since Jack has railed against Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about going after the wrong person when he was following the “evidence”, it makes him a prime suspect in Stark’s murder. Summer can’t help but feel guilty when she was the one who pushed Chance to find and punish her mother’s murderer, having Diane in mind-Phyllis admitted to the frame.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Questioned?

Even Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) comes under scrutiny because Diane is his mother and had actively tried, along with Jack, to frame Stark for theft. He knows his mother was framed for killing Phyllis so he thinks Stark framed her, along with his father and Diane. Summer is gobsmacked when Kyle and Jack come under suspicion, and will likely try to convince her mother to tell the truth.

After all, it’s completely believable that Stark used Phyllis to frame Diane and then would have tried to kill Phyllis when she wanted to back out of the deal. All she has to do is claim self-defense, and perhaps claim Stark drugged her into compliance with his scheme.
