‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nate Hastings Breaks Up Favored Couple – Devon’s Family Battle Begins

The CBS Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) proximity to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) can be written into an unexpected response. While neither character has exhibited overt feelings for the other in recent months, one impulsive moment could surely lead to a kiss. And with that, the start of what would become a relationship can begin.

Y&R fans have embraced Elena’s relationship with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), who is Nate’s cousin. It’s developed naturally and has allowed James’ character to heal after the devastating loss of his wife and their unborn child.

Rather than have Devon and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) become the new couple focal point, it would be intriguing to have Nate make the first move toward Elena.

Viewers who are watching classic episodes have seen the character Dominic is playing as a child. A recent episode documented the time that was building toward one of Y&R’s more shocking moments, as Nathan Hastings (Adam Lazzare-White) kidnapped his son.

Olivia Hastings (Tonya Lee Williams) was distraught because her estranged husband took Nate to St. Louis, Missouri, after an extended period of marital strife that included Nathan’s involvement with other women. This serious arc ended with Nathan returning Nate to Olivia, but being hit and killed by a car on the as he was doing so.

There have been multiple recasts of the Nate character through the years, with Brooks Darnell (Nate) joining the cast two years ago. Viewers learned that he was grieving the loss of his girlfriend at that time.

Dominic became the latest recast in 2019. His edition of Nate had a brief relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that ended when she chose to amicably exit what seemed to be an emerging pairing.

Y&R had written Nate and Elena into friendship status awhile ago. That clearly sets the base for personal matters to develop later.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Elena isn’t looking at anyone other than Devon right now. She has noticed, on occasion, that he appears to be drawn to Amanda, mostly due to her identical resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial role on the show).

Nate isn’t lonely, but he’s alone on the CBS soap. Elena is an impressive person and currently stands as the most likely lady that Nate will deepen his feelings for in the near future. With that, romance could spark.

The New Hope clinic is the setting where drama can unfold later this summer when new episodes will hopefully have been recorded and can be shown.
