Devon’s continuing response to what happened projects the humiliation he felt. The man lost the woman he loved to a cousin. That was not right.

Elena took responsibility long ago and recently began to wonder if Nate had personality flaws. Disregarding Devon’s committed relationship to her was the arguable initial clue.

What did Nate learn by pairing with Elena while she was with Devon? He learned that she was not as in love with Devon as appeared to be true.
But what consequences soon followed for that dishonest move? Nate was punched in the face by Devon and fell off a chair. One of his hands was so badly broken that he has been unable to perform surgery since.
Nate’s attempt to become the head of CW resulted in him being fired by Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Neither of his cousins trust him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Suffers Another Loss
Devon’s recent cavort with Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) may be tied to the mental fog that followed the hard break with Elena. James’ character seemed fully committed to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). But his feelings for her may have been similar to the ones he had for Elena, meaning they were not deep.
Nate suspects Devon broke Amanda’s trust. He feels Devon is a hypocrite for treating him badly. And the viewers see these cousins are not interested in healing on Y&R.
