Y&R spoilers for the week of January 17 reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a job for Michael. Intrigued by the offer, Michael goes to get more information from Victor. The job is for Michael to investigate Ashland, especially when it comes to his health claims. Victor was taking a “wait and see” approach.

However, the time has come for Victor to take drastic action to protect his legacy. Victor has never trusted Ashland, but doesn’t want to alienate Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) until he can prove it. Victor won’t be the only one that comes across information, though. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) catches Ashland in a compromising position, so his secret is about to be exposed.
