Y&R spoilers for the week of August 29 reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) reasons with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Chelsea urges Adam to give up revenge and just focus on being a good father to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Adam seems to take Chelsea’s words to heart. While the two share a hug, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) shows up. This might lead to an explosive blowup between the two women.
It is teased that Sally will continue viewing Adam as the villain while being dazzled by the Newman family. Sally will also be given a harsh history lesson by Chelsea. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is even more impressed with Sally. Nick will also explode at Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and start to take Adam’s side.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) breaks his promise to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). This happens the same week as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) arriving at Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) first birthday party. So, maybe Chance fails to show up, which will infuriate Abby.
