The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will reach common ground as they talk about their past together in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman And Phyllis Summers Were Married A Long Time Ago

Nick and Phyllis were married a long time ago – actually three separate times – and have a grown daughter together who of course is Summer Newman (Hunter King). They were together, on and off, for a total of six years and first became involved with Nick was married to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

They divorced the last time when Phyllis’ past hit and run of Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) came to light, causing them to separate, and Phyllis then had an affair with Ronan Malloy (Jeff Branson). Nick and Phyllis’ first affair resulted in his and Sharon’s divorce, and once we’re caught in bed by Phyllis’ son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Shortly after, Phyllis found herself pregnant, with Summer.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick, Phyllis And Baby Summer Newman Move Into The Newman Ranch Tack House

Shortly after Summer was born, Nick, Phyllis and baby Summer move into the Newman Ranch tack house and celebrate a legal marriage in Genoa City in a local church. Their wedding reception is interrupted by Phyllis’ arrest for a previous crime, but she manages to avoid jail and go home.

When Summer becomes very ill with a bacterial infection, the police catch up to Phyllis and arrest her at the hospital; Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) tries to convince the police to stall her arrest until the baby is better, but is unable to. Summer winds up in the pediatric ICU with Michael, Daniel, Nick, and Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) all in the waiting room as the police take Phyllis off, with Michael close behind. Once Phyllis is home again, Nick and she live quite happily in the tack house with Summer, even though Sharon keeps gravitating back to Nick. This wound up in an affair between Nick and Sharon, and Phyllis divorces him.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – They Reconcile And Remarry Two Years Later

Nick and Phyllis reconcile and remarry two years later, although Sharon was still making a problem of herself by crashing their wedding and declaring her love for Nick! However, the wedding goes on! Sharon continues to be a problem and a divisive influence between Nick and Phyllis, and they divorce again, and that was the last straw because Nick couldn’t make up his mind and said he wanted Sharon!

Sharon and Nick later remarry and Phyllis crashed their wedding in a white wedding dress, making Summer happy but then Phyllis fainted, drawing everyone’s attention to herself! In spite of all that, though Nick and Phyllis have remained friends through the years. Y & R viewers will recall some humorous reminiscing between the two as they very loudly played games against each other on their cell phones in the Grand Phoenix, and it will be the good things in their past and the good things between them in the present and their continuing friendship that they will come to reach common ground in!
