The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick and Sharon Doomed

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) may not reconcile after all. Many have been hoping for a reunion, but Nick’s working for his father’s company may threaten it.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick Newman May Be Making A Big Mistake

Even though Nick called a family meeting with Sharon and their grown children to make the announcement, he could still be making a big mistake. Sharon supported it even though she has always preferred he would avoid the family drama, which is inevitable working for Newman Enterprises. Nick himself always preferred to stay out of it and always did his own thing, for a time running a nightclub called “The Underground” then founding “New Hope”.

Sharon and Nick both agree that since he is older and wiser, maybe he can avoid letting the company change him, hopefully him being a good influence to change it. But since there is always conflict and drama between the Newmans, a peaceful transition and Nick changing them is probably not going to happen.

Y & R Spoilers: Working With His Family Always Brought Out The Worst In Nick Newman

In the past, when he’s tried before, working with his family always brought out the worst in Nick, although at first this time it may seem different. For one thing, a major reason he agreed to be Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) Chief Operating Officer job is to be able to keep a watchful eye on her. Nick doesn’t believe the danger from Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is nearly over, and neither does anyone else; so Nick is there not only as COO, but as his sister’s bodyguard. But Nick may not be able to avoid his family‘s influence on him and join in on their way of doing things, some of which he has always despised. He is bound to soak up some of those negative qualities in spite of himself, and he could even be used as his father’s pawn.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman Loves Power Play Games

Nick, and Sharon know how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) loves power play games; he may even pretend those chess pieces he is so fond of playing with are family and enemies! There is a good chance that Nick will be unduly influenced by the Newman’s negative behaviors somewhere down the road, perhaps even be forced into them. And if Nick changes to a more ruthless version of himself, that is going to cause major trouble for him and Sharon, likely putting the kibosh on any romance.

Some of the things that Sharon has always loved about Nick are his altruism and wanting to make things better for those less fortunate. Should he become infected by the greed that most of the Newmans exhibit, that would be a real disappointment.

Y & R Spoilers: A Mini-Me Of Victor Newman Would Turn Sharon Rosales Off

Sharon has always loved Nick’s idealism too, and if he became a mini-me of his father it would really turn her off! She’s been there and done that, having been married to Victor for a short time herself – actually, two short times in the same year. Of course, Nick could stay on until the Locke Ness Monster is taken down for good, and then go back to his own company “New Hope”. However, it looks like he’s expecting his move to be permanent or he wouldn’t have told Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) he would be taking the reins. But if he takes on his father’s ruthless and power-hungry ways, he can forget any reconciliation with Sharon.
