For undefinable reasons, Nick appears drawn to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) relatively recent drop of her was noteworthy. It is also something that Nick is aware of and considering his regular interaction with her in the workplace leads to future pairing speculation.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why So Many Talks With Sharon Rosales?
It appears Y&R’s writing staff created an ambiguous scenario between Nick and Sharon. Having them confide in each other within approximately the last year, and due to Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, the daytime door to one of this soap’s all-time iconic couples is open.
However, based upon whatever long-form storytelling is in play, it could be that Sharon is simply serving as Nick’s confidant. She makes sense as a trusted sounding board, considering their extensive history and their children’s recent life developments.
Talking with Sharon is something that helped Nick decide to return to the company on The Young and the Restless. He provided great support after Rey’s accident, with their post-marriage relationship as strong as ever.
Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Not Committed
Adam buried the betrayal hatchet with Sally. He finally admitted that she was right, with that affirmation potentially meaning this brief couple reconciles. But Sally has not recommitted to Adam, though she still clearly loves him.
Adam only pretended to be disinterested in her romantically as part of his attempt (which has been successful) to help Sally remain employed at Newman Media. He wisely decided to drop his revenge plan, that was aimed at his father.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) provided a similar form of guidance for Adam that Sharon did for Nick. Her advice propelled him to awaken, stop being bitter, and accept Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) solid offer to work at Jabot.
Te Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman’s Other Family
Nick created a family with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). That family includes Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), who is no fan of Sally’s.
Devoted fans recall that Sally ran Summer (as then played by Hunter King) out of town last year. That plot line eventually facilitated King’s exit from the cast.
Lanier’s edition of this character will not be pleased if her father and Sally become romantic. Sharon’s reaction, especially because she knows how Sally feels about Nick’s brother, would be impactful as well.

Yuck another story of pass the female, just what we don’t need. Can’t this show drag itself out of the 70s where this kind of crap could pass for entertainment. It’s disturbing how Y&R still keep passing people around like a small 15th century village. Im surprised GC isn’t still burning witches.
Exactly. predictable.
NICK…. Please don’t get involved with Sally!!!!
