After Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) deceived  Matt by claiming that Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are returning to Genoa City, they pursued Matt at a dilapidated gas station on the fringes of Vegas.

Nick’s Drug Dependency Leads Him To Danger-The Drugs Were Contaminated

Sadly, Nick’s drug issues will lead to complications since he snagged those bags from the storage room. Matt ensured that one of the bags held a contaminated batch, which will soon have Nick fighting for his life.

Although Nick and Adam will arrive ready to rescue Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Nick will collapse to the floor, writhing in pain.

Should Nick be taken to the hospital due to the harmful drugs in his system, he might eventually slip into a coma. The doctors attending to Nick may not be able to provide any assurances regarding his chances of recovery.

One can easily picture Sharon having emotional moments by Nick’s hospital bedside, begging him to return to her.
