The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Walks Away From Rehab – A Fellow Addict His Next Mistake?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a rough time during the week of August 3-7.

First off, he’s in rehab and a nasty nightmare gets the better of him. During the August 3 episode, Nick dreams of fentanyl and goes on a mind bender.

In the dream Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) declares that Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is dead because of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Nick’s Nightmare

In the dream an outraged Sharon yells at Nick for not saving Noah’s life. He wakes up in torment and decides rehab isn’t working for him.

When the August 4 episode rolls around Nick has checked himself out of rehab. Nick may think that he can handle being clean all on his own but he is terribly wrong.

Nick’s Temptation

On August 5 Nick attends Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) marriage renewal ceremony.

It is a welcome distraction from his woes and he reconnects with his family at the ranch. While he is happy for a short time, this does not last.

As the week wears on fans will see Nick spiral and on the August 7 episode Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) join forces to help their brother.

Nick Spirals

Does Nick relapse? It’s not clear but Victoria and Adam decide that Nick needs to be back in rehab.

Fans will see Adam and Victoria put their heads together as they urge Nick to do something in order to save himself. They argue that at the very least Nick needs to attend a meeting in order to stay clean.

What Happens Next in GC?

Red hot The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nick’s crisis leads to the introduction of a new character.

Jade Harlow debuts as Marie Kirkland on August 10 and we think she could be a potential love interest for Nick.

We predict that Marie is also an addict and this is how they first connect. Will Marie represent a new beginning for Nick? Or will she lead him down an even darker path?
