The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick’s Desperate Mission to Save Marie Ends in Tragedy – Sharon Picks Up the Pieces?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wants to rescue troubled Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow), the woman who OD’d in his seedy motel room.

Nick feels responsible for Marie and now that they’re both in the same rehab facility she’s milking his good nature.

The good news for fans who aren’t digging this relationship is that Harlow isn’t on contract so her character may be nothing more than a short time plot point.

In other words, Marie is useful as long as Nick is rehabbing, but do you really see her as a Newman? Not if Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has anything to say about it!

Nick’s Rehab Connection

Marie just isn’t Nick’s type and it’s doubtful that the judgy Newmans would tolerate her. Marie is fighting rehab and we wouldn’t be surprised if she met a tragic end.

Nick has rescued her once, what are the chances he performs a miracle again? It’s easy to see Marie overdosing again especially since she is looking for a secret drug stash. Unlike Nick, Marie’s life options seem limited.

Nick & Marie Fizzle or Sizzle?

A leaked spoiler indicates that Nick attacks his drug dealer and he could be someone who supplies Marie with drugs. If she dies as a result, Nick would go ballistic, and the story becomes more complicated, a tale of addiction misery and triumph.

What are the odds that Nick beats his addiction and Marie suffers a gruesome fate? In this scenario it makes sense that Nick would turn to Sharon for support.

Schick Forever?

Nick called Sharon to take him back to rehab, and their love is special. These two have been through the wars together and Schick fans have been waiting years for a reunion.

The writing regime has changed at Y&R and it could be that the new scribes decide to have Nick and Sharon’s past bring them back together.

Scorching The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nick has more hurdles to overcome, and that could mean losing someone he desperately wants to save: if Marie dies Nick will be devastated given how their paths have intertwined.
