Y&R spoilers reveal that Sally has managed to hold onto her CEO job at Newman Media. After Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) dumped Sally, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) had to make a decision. Victoria wanted to replace Sally but Nick suggested they give her a chance. Now Sally has the job on a trial basis.

So far, Sally has impressed Nick and even Victoria seems satisfied with her performance. Nick is also becoming a good friend to Sally. Nick is supporting her, encouraging her as well as giving her some sound advice.

With Nick and Sally getting closer, some fans wonder if the dynamic could turn into a romance.

In Thursday’s episode, Phyllis paid a visit to Nick. Phyllis said she was there to pay Nick back for helping her financially with the Grand Phoenix. During the conversation, Nick learned that Phyllis sold the hotel to Chancellor-Winters and is now working at Marchetti. Immediately, Nick warned Phyllis that she could lose a good thing if she got the job just to attack Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Phyllis claimed that she is working at Marchetti so she can be close to their daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). However, Nick knows Phyllis too well and is cautioned she could lose everything. Nick wasn’t just talking about the job but Phyllis and Summer’s relationship.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that as Nick and Phyllis were talking, Sally stopped by. Sally made it clear that she was there for Newman Media business. However, Phyllis couldn’t stop herself from taking some jabs at Sally. Nick ended up dismissing Phyllis and welcoming Sally into his office.

Phyllis knows she has lost Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) because of Diane. However, Phyllis seeing Nick and Sally’s good dynamic could also factor into her new romantic interest. Phyllis does have a tendency to bounce between Jack and Nick. While Phyllis hasn’t shown an interest in rekindling her relationship with Nick, that might change due to Sally.
