The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nikki And Deacon’s Confrontational Meeting

The Young And The Restless: Opera Digest that Nikki Newman (MelodyThe Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a somewhat confrontational meeting. She goes to Los Angeles to track down her ex-husband Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to get him to spill dirt on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) but it turns into an argument.

Nikki had a difficult time convincing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that she was safe to go to Los Angeles on her own to meet with Deacon. He finally agreed to send a security team to keep an eye out lest the shifty ex-husband bring harm to Nikki. She had discussed this with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as well as her daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) prior, but only Victoria had concerns.

Nikki arrives in Los Angeles and settles into a hotel, where she calls Deacon and asks him to meet her. Victor and Victoria’s main concerns, however are that Deacon will help her fall off the wagon again and she’ll go to a very dark place.

Y & R Spoilers – Long Time, No See

Deacon and Nikki have not seen each other for years, and Deacon is really happy to see her, which surprises Nikki. But Nikki refuses to give Deacon any benefit of the doubt whatsoever that he has changed one iota, and recounts every one of his dirty deeds from their past together. She naturally focuses in on his having helped Diane fake her death and escape Genoa City, Nikki having been accused of Diane’s murder. Nikki doesn’t perceive Deacon showing any remorse for what happened back then, even though he likely tries to, her perceptions being he’s being a snake in the grass feigning charm. Nikki uses his perceived lack of remorse and change to her own advantage.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – I’ll Make You A Deal

Nikki decides to try and make a deal with Deacon, offering to not seek retribution against him if he helps her with her scheme against Diane. Nikki makes it crystal clear to Deacon that she thinks he owes her for helping Diane fake her death and skip town. She definitely knows the big risk she’s taking for trusting him, but she also knows it will be well worth it if he cooperates with her and turns on Diane.

Nikki feels his cooperation will help her meet her goal of taking Diane down once and for all. The big question is if he even kept in touch with Diane once they got to Los Angeles, and knows anything about what if anything criminal she did there.
