The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Blames Victor for Patty’s Deadly Rampage – Is Their Reunion Doomed?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will eventually get some shocking news that’s sure to leave her concerned for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and even Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

It could lead to Nikki holding Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) responsible for Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) horrible actions.

Although Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) approved Patty’s release, Victor still played a big role in bringing Patty back into the picture. Victor was the one who hired Patty to seduce Jack on the yacht and blow up his marriage to Diane during the kidnapping fiasco.

Afterward, Victor gave Patty a bag of money and praised her for doing such great work. When Victor found out Patty would be hanging around town to cause more trouble for Jack and Diane, he was pleased about that, too.

Victor never considered how unhinged Patty is and the damage she could really do. All Victor cared about was targeting Jack and making him suffer.

Now Jack is indeed suffering, but Victor didn’t anticipate that he’d be doing it wounded in a hospital bed. Patty attacked Jack and almost finished the job at the hospital later, so he could’ve been her fatal victim if things had gone her way.

Based on Patty injecting Diane with a dangerous syringe in Y&R’s July 9 episode, Diane will also hover between life and death thanks to Patty soon enough.

The Newmans may try to keep Nikki out of the loop due to her eyesight drama and the stress she’s already dealing with, but she’ll find out what happened at some point. Nikki might even overhear something about what the Abbotts are going through and demand some answers from her loved ones.

Regardless, Nikki will ultimately learn Patty is behind a double murder attempt that could’ve cost Jack and Diane their lives. That could lead to Nikki blaming Victor for putting Patty back in Jack’s orbit and setting all this in motion.

Victor and Nikki have been making some progress in their relationship lately, but this could cause a major setback. Nikki may hold Victor at fault for the Abbott turmoil that’s playing out, so that could delay their romantic reunion.
