Nikki has had her Multiple Sclerosis condition under control for a while. Victor seems to be managing his rare blood disease through medication and by following Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) advice. The Moustache stepped back from day-to-day responsibilities at Newman Enterprises and was avoiding other stressors in having forged a general detente with Adam earlier this year.
But one old matter caused the thin peace treaty with Adam to be discarded, which deeply bothered Nikki.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Anything Adam Newman Is Trouble
Adam has wanted to get along with his father at sporadic points. But Grossman’s character’s held belief that Victor is the cause of his childhood pain persisted.
The Kansas storyline touched a deep nerve because Adam saw that as a vindication of his adult-life conjecture. He truly believes that Victor killed Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) father and is trying to pin the blame for that event on him.
Created flashback scenes seemed to show that the childhood version of Adam defended his mother and killed A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this retrospective role), who was an underworld figure. Victor rushed from Genoa City, Wisconsin, to the farm due to Hope Wilson’s (Signy Coleman) urgent plea. While he admitted to paying off a Corner to change official records, Victor did so in order to protect Adam, who blocked the violent incident out of his mind.
Y&R Spoilers – Rare Chris Engen Episode Plays
Chris Engen (Adam) became the first adult to play this SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) role in 2008. Daytime devotees can comment on how often this actor has been seen in repeat episodes since he left the cast in 2009. Michael Muhney (Adam from 2009-2014), Justin Hartley (Adam from 2014-2016), and Grossman (2019-present) followed Engen in the cast.
While Y&R returned to production earlier this month, new episodes aren’t expected to be available for broadcast until August. So, classic shows continue playing each weekday. A recent episode from 2008 was recently shown, with Adam, as then played by Engen, not fiercely battling his father at that time in the plot.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Where To From Here?
Adam wasn’t yet facing the prospect of defending himself on two fronts when viewers last saw him in April. However Y&R’s tease of the reemerging Las Vegas, Nevada, incident implied that Adam would need to simultaneously deal with both of his past actions.
If Adam believes that he’s going down for what happened in Vegas, then he’ll likely attempt to attack his father by trying to expose what Victor did in Kansas. Braeden’s character was imploring his youngest son to leave what happened with A.J. alone. Adam was having none of it, which was increasing Nikki’s fears that her true love was being needlessly drawn back to battle once again.
