The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nikki Sees Tucker Is Not Katherine – Diane Gets Ahead Of Reveal

The Young and the Restless spoilers document Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was smart to tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) her tale of woe. She sees herself as the poor soul who is earning a redemptive shot in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Jack was shell-shocked by Diane’s voluntary admission. He and the audience filled in the blanks, with TPTB presenting a series of retro scenes with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde, who daytime fans recall played Sam Bennett on Passions during the entirety of its run from 1999 through 2008).

Meanwhile, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was his snarky self when meeting with Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales), which Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) arranged. Tucker’s non-answers gave Talia no story to tell. But his banter with Nikki was downright disrespectful.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Katherine Chancellor Looking Down

Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) was the Grande Dame of Genoa City, Wisconsin. Nikki reminded Tucker, who still retains that moniker, when he used the phrase in reference to his host at the Newman Ranch.

Nikki and Katherine’s friendship is the only reason why Thomas Scott’s character has not taken a harsher stand with Tucker to date. But that approach needs to change, as Nikki learned after talking with one of Katherine’s
sons.

Devoted fans know that the actor who played Katherine’s other son, Beau Kazer (Brock Reynolds), died in 2014. That was a year after Cooper died.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Surprised By Response

It was not just what Tucker said but the way he said it that surprised Nikki. When asked if he was tied to Diane in Los Angeles, California, St. John’s character replied with an arguably dishonest answer that included halted, condescending laughter.

In the above moment Nikki and the audience could not see one iota of Katherine in Tucker. He has no loyalty to his mother’s best friend because in his mind, life is a game he wants to win.

Tucker also feels that the Newman family is his rival as he pursues control of Chancellor Winters. Nikki’s tell to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) should help him to aid Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in reassessing or redoubling efforts to make a push if CW opts to go public as it initially intended.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Forced To Come Clean

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is wondering if anything Diane has done or said will ever be enough to force her out of GC.

Diane suspected that the soapy walls were about to close in. While she never wanted anyone to know about her connection with Tucker, Diane felt it best to tell Jack the truth.

Of course, Jack has to wonder if he will ever know all of Diane’s many secrets. In the meantime, he has enough intel to warn his family members and put Tucker on notice.

Walters’ character is someone who Jack appears to feel sorry for and is fond of. That outlook is not totally based on their shared child, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and makes viewers wonder if Jack will eventually reconnect with Diane romantically on Y&R.

This Tucker drama is just not that interesting, trying to make Tucker this big bad guy, when we’ve all watched Victor do worse of the years.
Nikki sitting on her high horse over everything is not making an aging woman look attractive and lets face it when, as we age wisdom and forgiveness becomes the best beauty accessory someone can apply. Not sitting there judging Tucker whilst being married and frequently accepting the horrifying behavior of her husband, often to their own children. And judging Sally’s hookups when she herself has once been the GC community bike!. I don’t like the Sally situation, the passing around men, especially in the office is so dated and unhealthy but who is Nikki to judge. Dialog where Nikki is just a big old hypocrite isn’t classy. Nikki needs some better writing.
