Nikki was so happy when Nick showed up at Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) homecoming party. When Nikki told her son that Chance and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) had already left, Nick chose not to stay. Without saying hello to anyone except Nikki and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Nick turned around and left. Nikki was saddened that the rift between Nick and Victor had gotten to this level.

When Nick arrives, though, he discovers there is no emergency. It is teased that Nick is annoyed with his mother’s scheme. However, he does stay as Nikki tries to get Nick and Victor to make amends.

Morrow spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the upcoming scene. It sounds like Victor and Nick actually make some progress. However, will this progress be temporary, or will they be able to make it last long-term?

“They both love each other to death and each wants the other to understand where he’s coming from. Nick has spent most of his life begging his dad to accept him for who he is and Victor is hoping that Nick can understand what he wants from Nick. Victor has a blueprint for his kids to follow and when they don’t, that creates drama. This time, Victor seems to really hear Nick, so is Victor capable of giving Nick what he truly wants?”

      I hope Nick and Victor can reconnect. Nick has to set it straight he is not like his dad, and Victor does put kids against each other. That is why Nick walked away in the first place. Nick put all your attention in your hospital, and your kids. Hopefully with Sharon again. Have that family again like you use to before it all got crazy. Sharon and your kids need you. Know one loves and believes in you more than Sharon,Noah.Miriah,Summer and Christian Other than your mom of course you will always be her son. Nate and Elena need you at the hospital. What would be cool if Sharon was offered a job at the hospital as a therapist. Get her a real job with office and patients away from coffee shop. Keep it but let someone else run it. Time to built Sharon up let her be the person she is meant to be. With or without Nick. Hopefully he will come to his senses and see he needs Sharon like she needs him. And was happier with her and the kids. It is time to make Sharon hold again and not the weak person you have let her become. Let her stand up for herself, and not take crap from noone. Sharon is my favorite actress and Nick favorite actor, please put them back together. They deserve to be happy again.
