The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nikki’s Suspicion Justified – Victoria Not Consulted

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) does not believe Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) robbed her. She feels strongly that another party is guilty.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was resting comfortably in bed while Nikki was relaying her true crime theory to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was beside Diane, listening to her latest tale of woe.

Nikki was not surprised to see Diane in the Abbott mansion the other day. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), like Nikki, believed he was looking at the real criminals.

The section header was written as though Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) would review it for accuracy. The woman he once defended and was glad to see was not accidentally murdered by Nikki all those soapy years ago was not the thief in Chicago, but her knight in shining armor was.

Jack wanted to execute the scheme he and Diane cooked up. They would frame Jeremy for robbery by making it look like he traveled to Chicago, Illinois, broke into the Newman’s apartment, and took Nikki’s million-dollar-plus necklace.

But Nikki does not believe that Jeremy would be motivated to commit that crime. She thinks Diane is guilty. Chance thinks the same, while being unsure as to who actually lifted the heavy piece of jewelry. The issue was handled by the Chicago authorities, leaving Chance as facilitator in the case.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Jeopardizes His Future

Many people, including Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), have warned Jack about becoming involved with Diane. He listened but slowly came to take Diane’s side.

Despite her dirty backstory and having left him to deal with Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) childhood grief, Jack believes Diane was misunderstood and that she is the victim.

Nikki thinks Diane’s act is a crock then and now. So, Walters’ character received no legal punishment for faking her murder, which caused Nikki to be charged. Diane is avoiding legal consequences for being an accomplice to a crime Jack just committed against Nikki.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Not In Charge

Diane and Victor were often at odds in days gone by. She is one of his ex-wives.

But this pair does share some traits in common, including a control streak. Victoria’s talk with her mother about the robbery came at a point in the plot when Heinle’s character had no idea that her father was plotting Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) removal at Jabot, where he is Jack’s co-Chief Executive Officer.

Diane’s son has agreed to set Adam up. Yes, the son is behaving like his mother. But Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) oldest daughter is not yet aware that her youngest brother is being positioned for a Newman Enterprises return on Y&R.
