In an Instagram post from The Young and the Restless, they recorded Bergman showing off some ‘fun’ facts about his famous character, and some of these you may have forgotten. For example, Jack has been married to six different women! Really, just six? It feels like more, am I right?
Jack also delivered his ex-wife’s baby in an elevator, his nickname is ‘Smiling Jack Abbott’, and he loves to throw chairs out of windows. That last bit may be on of his most famous moments on the show and it has definitely been remembered throughout the years!

The video has already garnered a lot of attention and fans are loving it. Some have reacted to the post saying things like, “The incomparable Peter Bergman!!!👏👏Jack Abbott is one of the most phenomenal, beloved and brilliant actors on Y&R! There isn’t anyone who doesn’t love Jack!” and “I love your character! You are one of the big players! Victor status!”
Jack has definitely been around the show for a while and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Especially now with the drama of having Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) come back and trying to patch things over with him and their son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), it feels like Jack still has plenty to do.
While he is a definitive star of the show, some feel like he has been a bit of a sideline character the last few years, and I can see why people think that. Thankfully, it feels like this new storyline has pushed him back into the limelight and I trust we’ll be seeing more and more of the fan favorite.
