The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will face the terrible consequences of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plot. This will include all that transpired with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on that yacht.

Jack Was Drugged Into Submission, Or He Wouldn’t Have Done What He Did

It’s clear that Jack was drugged into submission, which explains his unexpected willingness to engage in this wild escapade with Patty.

Jack would never betray Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) if he weren’t in this compromised state, especially not with Patty of all people!

Unfortunately, Jack lacks the strength to resist temptation due to whatever substance he’s been given.

This is why Diane will burst into that room in the March 16 episode, only to be shocked at the sight of her husband under the sheets with Patty. In a conversation with SOD, Peter Bergman teased that this is “just a spark for the fuse.”

Jack’s Life Is On The Verge Of A Major Upheaval

Jack’s life is on the verge of a major upheaval, and Bergman has cautioned Y&R fans that the effects of that night will be enduring.

“What this means for Jack’s life is far more significant than what you currently see on screen-Jack’s existence has been irrevocably altered on that yacht”. “ The fallout from what transpired on that boat will influence Jack’s life for many years ahead. There will be lasting marks,” Bergman hinted.

 Naturally, we can’t help but question whether Peter Bergman genuinely believes that or if he’s merely promoting his storyline like any good cast member would! Will the aftermath of the yacht incident truly be as monumental as Bergman suggests?

Diane Will Confront Jack And Call Him Repulsive!

Besides confronting Jack and labeling him as repulsive, it seems Diane is preparing to leave the Abbott mansion- Diane and Jack are seemingly on the path to separation, which will undoubtedly shatter Jack’s heart.

On a positive note, there might be a glimmer of hope for Jack and Diane since they are set to attend a fundraiser together during the Beyond the Gates crossover this June.

Could it be that Diane and Jack will have mended their relationship by then-will the consequences of the yacht incident really be as significant as Bergman implies?

Perhaps Diane will realize by that time that Jack was under the influence of drugs when he slept with Patty, as she saw him in bed with her.

And Billy and Kyle Abbott (Jason Thompson, Michael Mealor) were right on her heels busting into that door, so they may be a voice of reason!
