Y&R spoilers reveal that Diane and Jack were desperate to save Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). As Kyle targeted his parents with the help of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack and Diane tried to save their son.

In the end, Kyle realized he had been fooled not only by Victor but by his own parents as well. Even though Kyle is trying to forgive his parents, it’s a work in progress.

After Kyle learned that his parents really weren’t splitting up, others found out as well. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) mentioned that Diane’s words seemed pretty real to her and doubted that it was just an act.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Bergman told SOD that Jack and Diane’s marriage could be shattered. It seems that some things that were said during the fake split could haunt the couple.

Even though both Jack and Diane were faking fighting, others aren’t so sure. Then, Bergman said this in his interview,

“It put a big question mark in Diane’s mind. Jack said some things that, wow — I mean, he just went a big step too far in letting the world know that he has big questions about Diane, and I think there’s a price to pay for that.”

Bergman predicts that those comments could affect Jack and Diane’s marriage in the future. Bergman doesn’t know what is in store for the couple as he specifically told the writers he wants to be surprised.

With that being said, Bergman definitely thinks the comments made during the break-up scheme might resurface at a later time.
