Phyllis agreed to visit Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) as Jack’s guest. That decision revived facial expressions circa The Grand Phoenix trio era, when Abby, Phyllis, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) all had a piece of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s swankiest hotel.

Jack feels it is okay to pal around with Phyllis now that the most recent Phick sequel was canceled. That reboot’s failure does not seem to impede a pending Phack revival, which Phyllis says will not happen.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phick Did Not Have To End

Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) were fine. Devoted viewers know that TPTB decided to split this couple. A rushed breakup played out in the United States and Italy.

Having Phick battle in Tuscany, Italy, allowed both characters to be off-guard away from their home turf. The synthetic feel to Nick’s angst was countered by Phyllis’ genuine disappointment in the man she came to love again.

Nick owed Phyllis more this time around and did not deliver. Jack recognizes the injured party and is glad to offer his support to the woman he considers a true love.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Is A Good Man

In all likelihood, Jack would not betray Phyllis’ trust if they were to get back together. Might she stray back to Nick someday? Maybe, and that is the gamble Jack would take once more.

Assuming that Phack is on a reconciliation path means that the writing staff will inject a fresh plot for both great actors to work. Bergman’s wise Jack is vastly different than the playboy days that fed his bachelor’s reputation in the 1980s and beyond.

Jack sees Phyllis for who she is now and does not want to change her. Nick could not get past her distaste for the Newman family. That is not an issue with the Abbott’s, as Phyllis can coexist with most of them, except for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). But that situation is manageable because Davidson’s character only spends part of the year in GC.

Phyllis does not want to hurt Jack. Her compassion for him is legitimate and represents growth.

Phyllis’ actions and words imply that she is not ready for another relationship right now. Phack is not out of the question, as she senses within Jack’s heart and her own.

Yea put Phyllis with Jack. Nick was not really for all the blame. Phyllis put her 2 cents. Telling Nick what Jack said. What was he suppose to think. But it is time for these 2 to pay-the-piper. It has gone on too long. Thinking they were real cute.. Does not always get what you were looking for. I hope Nick twice now when he decides to hurt someone again. I love his character and does it well but I still think he needs to focus on Sharon now. And not to be a babysitter for him. Take Christain with you. That is a low-blow for Sharon. He knows she will do anything for him, so hopefully he will not let her get away this time. Take some of the blame and not put it all on her. She has been through to much to be used again. Either you love her or you don"t. And again Jack will take another chance with Phyllis, I do not care as long as she stays away from Nick and him her. Is the Grand Phoenix the only place for meetings in this town?
