The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) commiserated about their children moving to Milan, Italy. Skyle’s decision to stay in Europe, where they are raising Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) son, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), naturally impacted both halves of the one-time Phack.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) used her happenstance spotting of the innocent get-together at Chancellor Park as an opportunity to put doubt in Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) mind. That is the exact reason why Jack split from Sally. Her immaturity and seeming inability to avoid drama was just too much for him.

However, it is fair to wonder if Sally’s inclination about Phack might have merit.

There is no argument between or about Phick. Phyllis detractors don’t like that she and Nick are back together.

But unlike Sally, Phyllis has truly reformed. As Y&R fans know, Phyllis was easily able to see through Sally’s early intentions toward Jack.

Stafford’s character even called out Sally for being a modern edition of herself. That was true and was also a wink to fans who have been loyal to Y&R since the Phyllis character debuted in the 1990s.

Sally’s comfort level involves drama. She needs it like some people need a daily latte, with whatever preferred extra add-ons, from Crimson Lights.

An inability to achieve stability allows Sally to believe that other people must be degraded so that she can advance. Phyllis was far more masterful during her infamous arcs in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Jack isn’t going to reconcile anytime soon, if ever. Sally cares about him. So, part of her intent in gossiping to Nick was to sabotage whatever Phyllis’ intentions might be toward him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – How Could Reboot Happen?

Neither Phyllis nor Jack have any thoughts of reconciling. Their meetings have involved Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) decision to leave town.

But Jack is single and has been looking for love. Nick and Phyllis are fully committed. So, some bit of intense drama would need to happen to cause them to have a major argument, separate, or split.

Sally is motivated to do whatever is necessary to create trouble for Phyllis. As fans recall, Sally promised to make Phyllis pay for revealing her plans with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
