Jeremy knew the heat would be on him if Phyllis revealed herself as not having been poisoned by Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). So, he sternly told Phyllis she had no choice but to play dead forever.
Both people threatened each other. Jeremy planned to kill Phyllis in her motel hideout bathroom, but she reversed the tables and ended him.

Phyllis was seen dragging Jeremy’s body in a tied white bed sheet. Considering the volume of available video in the modern world, it seems preposterous that no one saw her dispose of his body and did not use a smartphone to record it.
Stafford’s character has a problem. No one witnessed her self-defense act. So, Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) theory about Jeremy framing Diane and then killing Phyllis could be flipped onto Stafford’s character.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Needs Summer Newman Abbott’s Help
Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) was emotionally destroyed by how her mother died and the estranged nature of their relationship when it happened.
Phyllis was profoundly touched by the expressions of love Summer and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) offered at her wake. The Neil Winters’ Jazz Lounge setting included many touching remembrances and an original song from Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
Summer hosted the event and forced Diane to offer comments as well. Phyllis was present for the festivities. Her disguise was hilarious and made for great soap.
The above event convinced Phyllis that Summer needed to be her point person during what will be a carefully planned comeback.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Vindicated And Enraged
Kyle believes his mother had nothing to do with Phyllis’ supposed death and Jeremy’s disappearance. He is right on both accounts.
Summer was adamant about her mother being killed by Diane. But Phyllis’ reveal puts that theory to rest.
Along with helping Phyllis to return to the living, Summer must proceed carefully. She does not want the law coming down on her mother, which means Summer must keep Kyle temporarily in the dark. That projects to eventual marital fracture or break when a full reveal happens shortly on Y&R.
